Riser and sprue pipes are important parts of many casting processes in foundry technology and must withstand high stresses such as abrasion, high temperature and chemical corrosion.
To ensure high efficiency and long service life, risers and sprue produced from technical ceramics are carried out in all production processes from raw material preparation to final product in Işık Teknoloji facilities.
With its very low wettability coefficient, high thermal shock, abrasion and corrosion resistance properties Aluminium titanate is widely preferred material in aluminium foundries which are work with low-pressure die casting process .
According to the costumer’s working conditions , we have ability to extend working life of the aluminum titanate risers and sprue by changing the chemical compositions and some production processes in order to ensure optimum benefit and maximum mechanical properties.
