In all industrial processing steps, materials have to be transported. This starts with the mining of raw materials and stops with the application of a finished product. This often requires quite different transport techniques and technologies for solid, liquid or gaseous products. The transport systems applied here are pipelines, bends, channels, vats, funnels, containers or slides. The goods are pneu-matically, mechanically (screw conveyors, transport belts) or gravity transported.
For all transport systems and almost all components subjected to wear, ISIKTECH offers wear protection solutions with AL92. For large sized pipes, channels, vats, etc., classic lining is the most efficient, sustainable and economic solution.
Ceramic wear protection is also not an issue in case of high impact energy: AL92 impact panels consist of a ceramic-polymer compound construc-tion whose flexible polymer matrix absorbs the high impact energy (e.g. during the transport of gravel, ore or rock), while the extremely hard AL92 protects against abrasion. The special shape of the ceramic squares and the conical design of the polymer matrix keep the compound permanently stable.

The also award-winning ball tap by ISIKTECH uses the properties of two high-performance materials: The valve ball consists of steel, the product throughput area is protected by a wear- resistant AL92 sleeve. The synergy: The steel com- ponent effortlessly absorbs the adjustment forces, the ceramic lining ensures efficient wear protection. This very robust construction substantially reduces costs compared to other standard solutions. It can be integrated into existing facilities at any time.
